Meet the Author
Chance A. Brown

Chance A. Brown, affectionately known as a "military brat", was born in Deagu, South Korea and has lived the three countries and five cities by the time he was 10 years old.

Chance attended both DoDEA and public schools where he gained an excellent foundation for writing. Chance hobbies are sports and gaming. He is a quiet kid who talks a little trash to his friends while on the basketball court and on the football field. His favorite football team is the Philadelphia Eagles, and his favorite basketball team is the Golden State Warriors.

Whether on the court or on the controllers, he is passionate about his game. Chance fancies himself a slayer on Madden, 2K, Fortnight, Rocket League, and Roblox; especially when he plays against his dad. Like Garfield, Chance’s favorite meals are lasagna and cheeseburgers. His future goals are to write a sequel to the Attack on Blobville,  play wide receiver for The University of Texas, El Paso, and ultimately get drafted into the NFL. 🏈

About us

Chance is an elementary school student who turned his writing assignment into a published book. His inspiration to  become an author came after attending a book signing event with his big cousin, four-time New York Times Best Selling Author Wahida Clark. Chance's 4th grade teacher, Ms. Cindy Weaver gave him an assignment to write and present a fiction story. His imagination was peaked and the writing began.  With love and support from his parents, Robert and Carla encouraged Chance to see the project through to completion. His family couldn't be more proud.
